Amruteshwar Temple is located in Ratanwadi (अमृतेश्वर मंदिर रतनवाडी अकोले) village which is 50 KM from Akole Taluka. As per historical references, Amruteshwar Temple was built before 1000+ Years. It is Lord Shiva stone carved Hemadpanthi architectural style temple built by the Shilahara Dynasty in 9th Century AD.

The temple has an exquisite feature like the there is a hot spring below the Shiv Lingam. In monsoon, when the level of hot spring rises, the main sanctum fills with water. Around the temple, there's a pond, which also carries beautifully sculptures made out of black stone. The temple itself is set on the banks of the lake and has some beautiful carvings. It is a functional Shiv temple and loses some of its charm with people walking in and out to worship.
